This clever power inverter equips your vehicle with a standard three-pin power socket (like the one in your home or office).

Plug the Proporta In-Car AC Wall Power Socket into the cigarette lighter socket of your car and you can plug in most electrical devices (laptop, handheld, portable hi-fi equipment and even a small television).

This means you will never need to buy an in-car power supply for any device in the future - because almost all electrical devices are supplied with an AC power supply.

This device is fully compatible with UK and all European power plugs and we have adaptors for other parts of the world. The output is 240 volts.

The 100W inverter will power devices such as:

How do I know what devices the inverter will power?

This is easy to work out. Look at the item you are trying to power and there will be a sticker that tells you the amps and volts rating. Using the following formula, you can calculate the number of watts required to power the device:

Watts = Volts x Amps

If the result is less than 100 watts then the 100 watt unit will power your device satisfactorily. If it is greater than 100 watts and less than 150 watts then you will need to buy the 150watt version - see text below.
