To help, Proporta have written a quick guide on how to keep your leather products in good nick. And the good news is that it's not as difficult or time consuming as you may think.

It is important that the surface of your Leather Case is kept free of dirt, which can have a damaging effect on leather, particularly on the lighter colours.

To combat the build up of dirt, regular dusting (use a soft cloth) is advisable. Should the case be noticeably soiled, the exterior should be wiped down with a cloth soaked and tightly wrung out in lukewarm soapy water.

Please note that only soap flakes should be used. Never use a detergent otherwise bad things could happen. It is also worth noting that excessive use of water or vigorous cleaning could destroy the case.

Leather cases also shouldn't placed in direct sunlight or very warm areas for extended periods of time. Apparently it's got something to do with the seven signs of ageing...
