2. I don't have any complaints
Overall
5 / 5

It arrived before its due date. It took a while to get it put together, but after we did, it works perfect. I can hear clearly and can be heard clearly. I can also touch buttons with no problems and taking pictures aren't bad. Best 20$ Ive spent!

3. Pretty neat
Overall
4 / 5

Bought this because there was period of time where I kept dropping my phone into puddles. Taking no chances on ruining my phone, i bought the waterproof case. It works well. i wasn't brave enough to throw my phone into the river like other reviewers, but from what i can see, this case does the job. l really like the steam punk vibe of this case, with the large screws. its a little complicated to get together, but easy enough, and if you choose to not use the silicone case, you can remove it and just keep the clear (not waterproof part) plastic case on.

4. It gets the job done
Overall
3 / 5

I can only second the previous reviews in that:
it gets the job done using touchscreen is rather cumbersome as the material really is silicone, i.e. antislip so gliding finger along is "sticky" putting it on is a bit of a chore
However, preferring all these downsides to costly repairs after getting iPhone wet.

5. I have been impressed with the product, i feel my iPhone is safe with it in
Overall
4 / 5

I have been impressed with the product, i feel my iPhone is safe with it in.....
I bought in the first place mainly as I am a coach at a swimming club, i also do a lot of whitewater & marathon kayaking so my phone was becoming more essential. I was considering whether to go with this one or the life proof, i went with this one in the end as it seemed more robust, can go deeper in water and cheaper.....
I first tested it as instructed with tissues in a sink, got bored with this so took it too the pool and chucked it in with the phone inside into the 3m deep end, it survived luckily..... Since this it has been used on multiple occasions for different activities; kayaking, swimming, walking
I have a few negatives, being that it can be a real fiddle to put on and take off, along with the inner case feeling a little fragile, and not being able to plug it in when the case is on....
All in all however a good case that should be strong enough to deal with most professionals needs

6. Worked a treat very safe indeed excellent for videos

Used this case on a break at centre parcs which involved using the pool every day and this worked a treat very safe indeed excellent for videos but if you want to take pictures use the camera delay app as the screen is almost unresponsive under water due to pressure

7. It certainly protects your phone
Overall
3 / 5

It certainly protects your phone, however it makes the touch screen almost impossible to use. Siri might be pretty dreadful but I have been using it more out of necessity to make phone calls and write texts.

8. I felt I found 'the one'
Overall
5 / 5

I've been looking for a waterproof case for my iPhone for ages that I could use most of the time, the vast majority of them are far too bulky and unpleasant to look at. However, when I stumbled across the Proporta Amphibian waterproof case - I felt I found 'the one'. Overall, I'm not disappointed by it. I spend most of my time in a coaching boat on rivers and have always been worried about carrying my phone on me - as whilst it'll stay mainly dry in my pocket, if I need to use it then I'm always worried about water damage. Additionally, I'm also concerned about worst case scenarios and a capsize etc. The case is remarkably small for what it does, whist it's only waterproof to 3m - that's more than enough for most use. I can't imagine any SCUBA diver would want to dive with their iPhone anyway as they're not designed to process the type of conditions encountered underwater. The case feel sturdy and well made. Whether intentionally or not, I like the fact the case has a modular 'layered' approach, from full waterproof to everyday. Right now my phone had the full hard clear case on the back, the front screen surround and a clear film screen cover (not included), and I feel this is enough to keep it safe for normal use. It does not detract from the looks of the phone at all, nor limit functionality. To get to full waterproof mode, you snap on a rear mount for the seal, squeeze on the rubber housing and then screw down the rear seal. It takes literally 1 minute to do.

10. It worked in the bath
Overall
4 / 5

So, I did a lot of looking around and research for waterproof housing for my iPhone. I'm going away to Annecy soon and there's a giant, freshwater lake that we spend most of our time swimming in and messing about. In previous visits I've always worried about my iPhone getting wet, and also like the idea of underwater video an photos. The water is insanely clear there. So I started looking for fully waterproof housing. The three that caught my eye were the Rain ballet, The Life Proof and this one, the Amphibian. The things that drew me to this one from the others is it's simplicity. Common sense tells me the less holes that you need seals for, the less chance of leaks. So where this one differed from the other two was that you can't plug in headphones or charge it when it's in it's housing. Normally that's a bad thing. But for me in this case it's a very good thing!

Cannot give an honest opinion yet as using for an up and coming holiday. However one observation I have made is that it could possibly do with a lanyard attachment.

Cool idea buy design needs some improvements. Won't trust for scuba diving just while drinkin at pool
